Kenya Allow Visa-on-Arrival Due to Glitch on E-Visa Platform

East African nation, Kenya has issued a press statement through its Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs to allow visitors to travel to its shores and get their visas on arrival at all ports of entry. According to the release which was sent to all Diplomatic Missions and International Organisations in Kenya, the ministry while presenting complements informed that “there is currently a challenge on the Government e-citizen platform, which is impacting processing of e-visa.

The statement declared further that “travellers will be issued visa upon arrival at all entry points to Kenya.” In addition, the ministry advised “all airlines to onboard travellers destined to Kenya.”

In closing, the statement read that the ministry “avails itself of this opportunity to renew all Diplomatic Missions and International Organisations in Kenya the assurances of its highest consideration.
