Frequently Asked Questions
Walk for Love Africa (WFLA) is a non-profit Pan-African advocacy organization dedicated to promoting intra-Africa connectivity, tourism, and trade. Founded by Toni Ukachukwu in November 2021, WFLA seeks to build a borderless, self-reliant continent by engaging stakeholders across countries, and creating a domestic market rooted in unity and cultural heritage.
A flagship project of WFLA, the “Walk For Love” was a 2-kilometre leisure walk held across 14 African countries and 20 cities, beginning in Lagos and concluding in Cape Town. This event helped advance awareness of travel challenges, unity, and connectivity across the continent.
WFLA organizes multi-level programs—from country-based activities to continental campaigns—through the WFL HUB marketplace to connect travel, tourism, and trade stakeholders. The organization also supports SMEs in the tourism sector through skill-building, mentoring, and sustainable incentive programs.

The inaugural Walk For Love Africa Summit took place in March 2024 in Lagos, bringing together government officials, industry leaders, and SMEs to discuss strategies for sustainable growth in Africa’s travel and tourism sector. The summit emphasized the importance of initiatives like SAATM and AfCFTA.
WFLA actively champions initiatives such as the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and the African Union’s Agenda 2063. By doing so, the organization promotes cross-border air travel, borderless economic expansion, and socio-economic development across the continent.
You can join the movement by becoming a Country Coordinator, Volunteer, or WFL Funding Partner via the “Get Involved” section on our site. These roles help advance the mission across Africa.
