Alain St. Ange told the Business Community of Reunion the tourism was an industry and should be treated as such, “It is not an activity, it is an industry, and it needs the political will and the commitment of the respective countries if it is to succeed in all its sectors” he said reminding everyone present of the COVID era when the world came to a halt as tourism as the key industry entered a mothballed stage.

The evening, in the exclusive restaurant that also houses a delicatessen with products of the premium Bellota – Bellota, an extensive wine corner, an Italian soft furnishing boutique, an art gallery amongst other activities was taken over by the ‘club like group’ of the Reunion Business Community.

As he toured the tables sitting at each one during the dinner that followed his address, Alain St. Ange answered question and elaborated, and points made in his long address.
