The Pyne Hospitality Company LLC & Zigona Advisory in collaboration with Tourism and Hospitality Industries Thematic Group (THITG) of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) presents the PYNE – NESG Africa Tourism Conference 2023, scheduled for September 6 – 7, 2023 at the Eko Hotels & Suites Convention Centre, Victoria Island in Lagos, Nigeria.
Themed, “Tourism in Africa: Catalyst For Accelerated Economic Empowerment,” the conference aims to bring together tourism policy makers, industry experts and pioneers from different parts of Africa to address some of the issues mitigating against intra-African Travel in the African Tourism Sector and exchange ideas on best practices to increase international arrivals into the continent while protecting the environment, cultural and historical values.

Meanwhile, the second edition of the Tourism Hackathon will be held in collaboration with the 2023 PYNE-NESG Tourism Africa Conference.
Tourism Hackathon Nigeria emerged as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the tourism industry in 2020. The need for innovative solutions to revitalize the industry became evident, prompting the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to advocate for a rethinking of tourism.
Created to harness talent and ideas that could accelerate the growth of the domestic travel and tourism industry, the inaugural edition of Tourism Hackathon Nigeria took place at the UNWTO Global Conference in November 2022, showcasing Nigeria’s potential as a tourism hub and promoting diversity and innovation. Stakeholders, including industry players, investors, policymakers, and enthusiasts, are invited to join this exciting event.
